Yesterday we had attended the Oregon Manufacturing Awards luncheon at The Nines Hotel in Portland. We were named as one of three finalists for the Small Manufacturing Company of the Year by the Portland Business Journal. The award honors manufacturing companies in Oregon and SW Washington for outstanding and innovative practices. Award categories recognized at the event included; Manufacturing Company of the Year Awards (Small, Medium and Large), Excellence in Training and Product Innovation of the Year.
“This has been a year of big changes for RelianceCM, including a rebrand, aggressive partnership expansion goals and challenging new business opportunities. It is very rewarding to have our dedication and success honored by the Portland Business Journal in being named a finalist in this years’ Manufacturing Awards,” said Scott Schroeder, president of RelianceCM.
The Manufacturer of the Year award is based on company performance, overall business strategy, innovative approaches to internal operations, manufacturing processes, sustainable practices involving customers, partners and suppliers. It is truly a privilege to be named a finalist, and while we did not win, we wanted to congratulate our team on their hard work and dedication and applaud this year’s winner, Valley Machine.
